My name is Caroline Graham, I live in Leamington Spa and have four children.
I have been teaching NCT antenatal classes since 2009 when I qualified with the University of Bedfordshire Higher Diploma in Antenatal Education. I love my job and I feel very privileged to be part of so many couples’ journey to parenthood.
When I gave birth to my third daughter in 2010 I used Natal Hypnotherapy™ and found the techniques to be completely effective for relaxation, aiding sleep and maintaining good health during pregnancy. I also found the labour and birth were calm and enjoyable and the postnatal period was relaxing and peaceful. My fourth pregnancy and birth were a little more eventful but the techniques that I had learnt through Natal Hypnotherapy™ were fantastic and helped me to relax though it all.
I decided to train as a Natal Hypnotherapy™ practitioner to be able to share some of these benefits with the couples I work with, as I believe that they will be as effective for you too. I completed my training with Maggie Howell, the founder of Natal Hypnotherapy™ in July 2012.
I was thrilled to be awarded with the NCT’s Antenatal Teacher of the Year National Award in 2012 and I went on to qualify as a baby massage teacher and Mum & baby yoga teacher through the NCT. I have found baby massage to be an amazing way of supporting carers and parents to engage with their babies through touch. There are so many benefits to using massage and it is amazing to get to know so many local parents through the work I do. I really enjoy leading Mum & baby yoga as it is enables new mothers to connect with their bodies, build strength, flexibility and practise relaxation all while caring for and interacting with their babies.
I have recently taken on additional training in Sport Yoga and am a member of the Birth & Beyond Collective. I hold an up-to-date NCT antenatal and Natal Hypnotherapy™ license to practice and am fully insured as an antenatal teacher, Natal Hypnotherapy™ practitioner, Mum & baby yoga and baby massage instructor.
